Hi I am from Australia but own a bike in New York. Before I bring it home I want to ride the mother road to LA, can any one recommend an insurance company that willl cover my Harley Davidson for the full cover for 21 days only. Look forward to any help thanks.

If you have a US address Car Insurance: Auto Insurance & Insurance Quotes - Progressive look the most promising to me so far. As far as I can tell you insure on the chassis number and you can declare you have a non US license.
There is also Motorcycle Insurance - Instant Online Motorcycle Insurance Quotes Again you will need a US address and may be more suitable for shorter trips

You know that Route 66 basically doesn't exist any more, right? Other than in a few isolated stretches anyway...
