Hi, if in the Sibiu,Sighisoara area of Romania I can recomend the camp site at Carta or Cirta, depends on spelling on your map, its just off the main Sibiu to Fagaras road, just after the turning for the 7c road which is the trans Fagaras highway and is stunning if a little cold and foggy when we were there 5 days ago (12 Sept) The campsite can be used as a base to explore the sights of Transilvania and is run by a Dutch couple, only 2.25 euro per person plus 1.50 euro for small tent. The back road to Sighisoara, 106? is also good from Sibiu and free of traffic. We are in Nessebar on the Black Sea coast, bit of a tourist trap but we have been on the road over 3 months now and it's nice to have the option of steak and kidney pie. If crossing to Bulgaria from Romania you use the Russe friendship bridge then there is an adequate campsite on the road to Sofia. Regards Chris and Gill

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
