Glad I misunderstood. On the other hand, if not taking the interstate highways, you'll be covering more miles at lesser speed, which means more time. Three months is definitely pushing it. You might want to lose a bunch of destinations or add a month or two. Or both.

Sounds like a good time. Safe journeys!

Chris

I am in Sydney, as well as Coffs Harbour. I emailed you twice but it looks like you haven't received them. Will try again.

Thumbs up

Chris, it looks like my emails to you are not getting through the HUBB for some reason. Do you want to email me instead through the HUBB and see what happens. Great idea to meet half way or even in Sydney (another excuse to ride). I do that distance at least once a month on my motorbike.

Cheers

Chris,

I'm located in L.A. and will be happy to show you around and at least get you started on your trip, including showing you some nice bike routes around here. Highway 1 between Santa Barbara and San Francisco is highly recommended. Please note I will be unavailable June 7-15.

This invitation is also open to anyone else passing through my neck of the woods.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
