Quito-Huaraz
 

i'm trying 2 find someone who will face south from loja or Zumba (ecuadorian border) around june 16-19. The goal will be get to Cañon del Pato and finnish the ride in Barranca.
I'll be riding a 2005 ktm 640 adv, probably 2up.

Have just done this route and am now in Colombia heading north.

The route is amazing! Stay at Pension Saracay for 2 bucks a night in Zumba. the road from the goes to San Ignacio south and to Jena (I think). From there head south through the road which will take 2 FULL days to do 300km. Passing through Huamachuco, Mollepata, Cabana, LLapo, La Pampa, Corongo, Huallanca, Caraz and into the Canon del Pato. One of my favourite rides as well. ENjoy! Go slow. Take care!

Departing the 24th, from Quito to Loja, anyone on the road and facing south?
