Paraguay to Bolivia through Brasil, now
 

Hey there,

I seem to take all these odd routes that nobody ever seems to do. I am in Ciudad del Este now, paraguay, will cross into brasil in a few days and then through Mato grosso do Sul (to Bonito) and Corumba back into bolivia. Just got the news that the stretch Corumba to Santa Cruz has been paved. A surprise to me! Don't know if it's good or bad news yet....

I've been waiting around forever in Buenos Aires for my Brazil visa (they've almost eclipsed the all-time record, currently held by the Indian embassy in London), but will be headed north again shortly. Are you determined to stay in Bolivia, or will you be out and about?
