Panama to Canada

Hey well I've made it to Panama. So now I am at the point in witch I turn this trip around and point it in the opposite direction. I'm not in to much of a hurry to get north because of the fact that it's freezing up there. However I will be making my way. Looking to be back for mid April. So if anyone is heading that detection in the next few months let me know and maybe we could meet up for some of the ride.

Canuck headed yr way

Hola there, man. Name's Seth. Hope this finds you very well and enjoying Panama. Am in Antigua, Guat on my way down from Kelowna, BC. Dunno if I'll be selling my RT1100 in Panama once I'm there, or riding back, so I thought I'd drop a line to hedge my bets for some return company if I do ride home once the passes are clear and the skies brighter.
Have met up with another rider (finally!) and we're heading down at a leisurely pace... can hook up with y'all once there if you wish.
Wondering if my pipe dream of a new life in P (for at least a year) as an ESL teacher (or reviled ad man; I'm also a copywriter) is a viable one. Opinions, advice, raves and rants all welcomed.
Cheers, Seth Klapman

Ya sounds good let me on your progress. I arrived in the Capitol today. What great feeling going over that bridge with an enormous container ship going under it. Now I need to find some new shoes for the horse and a tune up would be great as well.

Panama to Canada -- early APRIL START

hello Gents --
getting my RT1100 oil change and tune up now by a BMW mechanic for a quarter the price at Ride PTY in Panama City. Speak to Abraham, the owner. 64518353
His English is impeccable and he is helpful as all get-out. The mech, Richard, is a BMW factory-trained dude from Venezuela.
I pick up my bike tomorrow (April 4th) and want to take off pretty soon.
I really welcome some decent drinking, er, riding company. Call me at 61587125. ( Im using a local SIM card. Staying at the fleabag White Lion Hotel in Casca Viejo.)
Welcome your call. Otherwise, email me at sethklapman at hotmail dot com

hope to hear from you!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
