Pamirs in August

Hello, I have a friend that will be crossing from Kyrgyzstan into the Pamirs starting about August first. He is riding alone, if anyone would like a partner please let me know and I can help hook you all up.

My visa runs out on the 15th so unfortunately it is a little late for me. Don't rush through Kyrgyzstan, its a beautiful country. Have a great trip.

Hi rtwpaul,

I should be in Osh on the 14th or 15th of August and then heading to Tajikistan. Would be good to meet up if you are still around.

Cheers,
DK

I'm in Almaty at the moment. Will leave here on Sunday and go to Bishkek. One or two nights there and then a couple of days down to Osh. I did Osh to Bishkek in one day on the way up and it was a pretty long day.

Yep happy to ride down together. But I'll probably still need to stay Monday night in Bishkek. Still need to get my Tajikistan visa. Latest reports say it's issued on the spot in Bishkek so hopefully shouldn't take any more than a day.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
