Pakistan -> China -> Kyrgyzstan: April/May 2014. Large group wanted
 

Hey I'm looking to start gathering a group - if there is one - for passage through China. The idea is to connect Pakistan to China as quickly and cheaply as possible.

As you probably know, China requires a private guide for riding through on your own, foreign, motorcycle. Its absurdly expensive and requires lots of paperwork. Best to get an early start and split it as many ways as possible.

I'm already in India with a valid carnet, but no Pak visa as I cant apply for one yet because it would expire before I enter Pakistan.

Some things to note:

We must enter China with a hired Chinese guide (at ~$250USD/day yay), have a fixed itinerary, and enter on an EXACT day.

A Pak visa can only be obtained from your home country, so either courier it or get it before you leave.

The paperwork for entering China, I am told, normally takes between 6-8 weeks to process, although I wouldn't be surprised if it took twice as long.
