Northern India - Chandigargh to Leh - Summer 2014
 

Hi,

I'm planning a 5 week trip to this area next summer holidays and would like to hear from anyone interested in coming along or who might be there already or anyone else with any tips or 'must-sees' along the way (or not too far off it!)

I've ridden overland before, a few years ago in South America, so I'm used to the road.. but short on riding buddies.

Hey,

I am also planning on doing that trip in summer 2014. I am going to be travelling from end of January doing the Trans Mongolian to China and then on to Nepal where I plan on buying a Royal Enfield. I will travel around Nepal and into India. I then plan on doing that trip to the “highest road in the world” . It’s just the dates that I am unsure about it will depend on how I go before that. But we should definitely keep in touch as I will also be looking for riding buddies.

My dates are last week of July to last week of August/ first week of September.. teacher's holidays are great! :) I know it's rainy season but that's the only time of year I can get away for so long.. A few years saving to go before I can afford the big trip..

Anyway.. good luck planning your ride and maybe see you next summer :)
