New York-Buenos Aires, october 2010

It is time to start preparing my third American leg. I will leave New York on a R1200 GS by 22 october heading South America. I have 4 months to arrive to Buenos Aires.

Normally I ride alone, but if someone is going on the same way and do not speak Spanish, I offer my self as a language teacher. You´d better know how to pay bribes and ask for mercy when being robbed.

A proper knowledge of Spanish language may be useful.

Salary demanded: two litres of good beer every night.

Back to America

Hi, Apolo. I will go straight from NY to Mexico. If you are around the east coast by the end of october, we can ride down south for a while. Take care.

Hi Miquel-Silvestre,

I think I can afford two beers a night ... at least if one doesn't have pay before one crosses the Mexican border!

Anyway, I'm planning to ride my GS from Vancouver to Buenos Aires (Oct'10 - Jan'11) and wouldn't mind too much not to ride the whole tour on my own. So maybe we could meet at some point...

cheers
Marcus

PS: I'm German, but I guess this language is not too useful in the Americas ;-)

Hi Hawkeye42.

Maybe in Chile there are some who speak German. I don't but I really love german beer.

I love also to ride alone because nobody argue about who has to pay the beer, but, anyway, could be nice to meet you on the way. We'll keep in touch.

Take care.

Yes my American Passaport will only be pulled out at crossing. For the rest of the chumps. They get to see my Colombian Passaport. Not to many crooks want pesos for Vribe. Ahoy Miquel!

Miquel! I See you have a new plan ahead of you! Depending on when you arrive at the Mexican border. I could be ready to rock and roll. I'll be riding my 2006 Suzuki DR650 by that time.

Keep us all posted. If you haven't ridden with Miquel, do yourself a favor, buy him those 2 liters of beer, or a bottle of jeiger, and you'll have an awesome time of it.
