Nepal - Tibet (G219) - Kirgistan: June 2013

Hi there,

we are seeking travellers with motorbikes or cars who would be interested to join us on our tour following along the south border of china from Lhasa to Kashgar.

This is the famous G219 where you stay above 4000m for almost the entire time and you go up to 5700m by car. Perhaps we have time to visit Takla Makan as well. We see Mount Everest, Annapurna and the wonderful countryside and people of Tibet.

We enter China 3rd of June 2013 from Nepal and expect that the tour takes between 25 and 30 days on Chinese soil. Agency is settled and application in preparation. We can add up to two more cars in our group, also relatively short notive. It is not the first time we work with this agency and we trust very much in what they do.

Tibet is at the moment open and we hope, it remains like that - but you never know. This is the only downside of the journey.

Are you interested? Please contact us under

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
