Looking for companions with the same destination or sharing the route, I am open mind, I drive an old but robust twin 350 Cc. I speak English and French any idea or suggestions welcome. If In January I will partecipate to Penguinos in Spain, probably the biggest motorcycle event in Europe http://www.ctv.es/USER/turismoto/
Depart from Algeciras or Malaga(Spain), I can also examine others destinations but in Mediterranean area if possible.

Cheers

I don't want to appear insensitive, but this is the sixth thread you've started with exactly the same message. Why not add to the original thread instead of starting new ones?

Your message remainds me of an old joke about the marketing skills of Hewlett-Packard (a company not known for its marketing prowess) in which is was said HP would describe sushi as 'cold, dead, wet fish'.

If you didn't get a response before, repeating the same message won't help. Try providing more information about what people will get from travelling with you. 'Old but robust twin 350 cc' doesn't do it for me, it brings to the imagination that you would be pottering along at 60 kph with constant breakdowns.

Good luck with your quest.
Tim

Greetings from Italy :-)

Tim Cullis I do not want be insensitive me too.
I am so sorry but English is not my mother tongue so I try to write my message more understandable as possible also for non English speaking people, as you can see there is the text in French and maybe it will be added also in Spanish in the future. I have several motorbikes and the model I told, old but reliable is Moto Morini Kanguro 350 CC. I have been to Cappadocia(Turkey) without any problem, so I think it is reliable, the engine also works without battery, maybe does not do for you but, believe me in certain countries like Macedonia, Montenegro or Albania, it makes the difference. I have also participated to an organized mototouring in Romania the motorbike with more problems, abs, battery, catalyzer was a Bmw too sophisticated. . The brand could be not an absolute guarantee if you drive in certain countries. In my opinion a motorcycle traveller is worth of respect despite the brand, and the age of the motorbike He has. A challenge for you I am also looking for companions: Cape North(Norway) to Odessa(Ukraine) passing from Russia summer 2007, so I shall be happy to show my motorcycle is old but reliable

Cheers and thanks for your suggestions

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
