Mozambique in November

Anyone riding up or down Mozambique in November? If so let's have some beer.
I haven't seen another bike since Nairobi and I'm tired of pretending to sympathize with tourists who are going back to work the next day...

Mate,

Haven't you made it any further south yet? Did you get stuck in Malawi indulging in a little too much of the Malawi gold?

cheers

Remind me how long it took you to get from SA to Ethiopia again? ;-)
All de best

Hi,

Sounds good.

I hope to be in Maputo about 10th heading north, then left near Beira into Zim.

Simon,

There is nothing wrong with taking the slow road - after all, I seem to have become rather stuck in Egypt for the last three months!

Look forward to catching up for a beer when you get back to the UK. I rather suspect you might actually beat me there....

cheers

Sime66 31 Oct 2005 21:25

Damn right mate. I should be back end of Jan, unless I get stuck somewhere nice...

If all goes well I should be leaving Khartoum by the light of the moon or at least tomorrow 2 Nov and drinking my way south via Ethiopia and Kenya and never ever going to a dry country ever again. Mike, on a slowly rattling apart 1200GS

Mike
I recommend you get through the north of Kenya as quick as poss - no lager available at any time (at least on the Moyale-Wajir road). Give us a shout when you get to the booze-flooded southern bits...
