Morrocco (or however its spelt).

Hello everyone. Wife and I going to morrocco in a week or two for as long as it takes (flexible) and just wanting to know if others are traveling same direction at that moment, aprox. Be riding v strom and camping (free camping if possible). Fun to meet and endulge in drinking and telling travelers stories. perhaps even jamming a bit with travelers instruments. All in all have some fun and good company. hope hearing from someone. Cheers, love and peace and "no pasa nada", Lola and Dan.

I toured Morocco in january this year and loved it, friendly people, great scenery and good weather (in the south). You can wild camp pretty easy, although the campsites are so cheap and plentiful that it's not worth fretting over. There are decent tarmac roads throughout and a few easy pistes if you fancy a bit of that (assuming two up on one bike), check out Chris scott's Morocco overland which is a great reference even if your not planning on traveling the pistes. As far as alcohol goes, you can get it in Morocco, usually in hotels or in big supermarkets in larger towns and is quite expensive by Moroccan standards. We saw a good few bikes when we were on our travels so you should have no problems hooking up with others to swap stories etc. Oh, and it's spelt with a single "r" and double "c" Morocco, cheers....marty

the real dilemma is spelt or spelled, cos I don't know
