Morocco very soon !

Hello,

I've been caught by a strong will of going to Morocco with my ténéré !
I'd like to go very soon, before I go up to UK for work.
When bike and everything is ready I'm off for vacation following the atlantic route, hopefully until Mauritanian border, maybe further according to budget.
I think I could leave from here by September, taking boat from France until Tanger; 400-500€ go/return ticket.
I'll try to make trip as economic as possible to keeep some pennies for future projects, maybe 1500€ will be enough all included, which I feel ready to pay to watch the desert, ocean and just drive further and further in this great country.
Anyone interested in joining?

Regards

Mattias

Hi Tony,

No problems, strange; I just read your post, we seem to have the same travel plan.
Would be nice doing some route together, date is a problem cause I'm most free in September.
October is better as season for morocco, I know.
Are you flexible for departure date?

Cheers,

Mattias

Hello,

I won't be leaving to Morocco yet..
I lost control on a stupid road here in France the 26 of August and smashed down my knee and bike kind of badly; knee is broken in 3 pieces and bike is seriously damaged.
Currently on a hospital bed until late October.
So I'll do the trip either October or November when everything is arranged, new bike etc..
Seems like I drive a bit hard sometimes...

So be careful on the road and understand the danger to the fullest and don't overestimate/underestimate anything.

Cheers,

Mattias

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
