Morocco slow jaunt September
 

I am in the initial stages of planning a trip to Morocco in the middle of September. I want to get down to Rissani and Erfoud via the Atlas Mountains. I reckon the trip will be about 10 to 14 days. I went down there over a year ago and enjoyed the trip. Crossed over from Tarifa to Tangier. Crossed channel from Portsmouth to Santandier. Last time travelled on my own on a worn Honda TransAlp with the aim of going where the tarmac stopped. (which it did) Is anyone is interested in a jaunt in September? Cheap hotels etc. I have an interest in the Moroccan fossils of this area.

went through Lyme Regis last saturday! Could be interested in your journey. I am down the coast in Devon, so not far away. If you could keep me posted of your plans that would be great. Went to Morocco 2 years ago. Probably would be riding a yam xt660r.

Morocco trip
 

I am still in the initial stages of planning the trip. I reckon to go about second week of September. Present bike is a Triumph Tiger but will probably take a Honda TransAlp as I would preffer a smaller machine.
I know the ferry prices have gone-up last time I went Portsmouth to Santandier and stayed in cheap hotels or b&b. I am flexable on the route. I really enjoyed the landscape although last time I was in Marakesh was thirty years ago and in the mean time some-one has built Milton Keynes outside it.
