Morocco July 2012
Passing over to Morocco from Spain on 15th of July. Anybody else on the area? Plan is to travel some 1-2 weeks over there.
I will be doing mostly the mountain area with my R1200GSA. And yes, I know not the best time of the year, but as we have vacation period in Finland this is the time for me... Now in Malaga area.

We will be in Morocco from 09/07 till 01/08. Mostly following atlas mountains. We are riding 2 x BMW F800GS (grey with TT Desierto screen). So maybe we will meet you somewhere...

It's very hot in Morocco in July. Don't forget to pour water in your clothing as you ride.
When you realise it's too hot, go to Essaouira and just relax. Try Hotel des Remparts for a cheapie. You have missed the Gnaoua music festival there, so chill out. Watch out for mineral selling loonies on the mountain passes -they'll have you off if you're not careful. Do little or nothing in Essaouira. Enjoy. I want to be there now.
