Mongolia to Europe (one way)
 

Next June 2010 I send the motorbike (BMW 1200GS Adv) from Zaragoza (Spain) to Ulaanbaatar by transport Enterprise (M&M). When the moto arrived, I take an airplane to UB, pickup the moto and return to Spain throw Russia, Kazakstan, Iran, Turkey, Greece, Italy or Russia, Moscow, Letonia, Lituania, Poland, Berlin.

The cost of freight it's about 1.300 euro and need ATA carnte, the rest is drive and drive, no truism.

Any more? Any suggestion?

Go the opposite direction: join us - leaving late May and finishing in UB.

From where? How do you do with the moto in UB?

We look for bike transport back to Europe - perhaps I will try your suggestion M&M. Perhaps we turn around the ride it back. Doesn't matter, we've got lots of time to think about it :-)

I want also to send the bike in Central Asia this summer (but in Tashkent). I've read here in the "getting there - shipping the bike" section that a few years ago someone waited 1 week before getting the bike out of customs..

Do you know if you can send the bike earlier and when you arrive just get it and ride?

I was thinking to use M&M also. Did you have some other price offers from other companies?

With m&M 880 euro Berlin to UB and 500 Zaragoza to Berlin. 45 days (aprox.). I don't find any cheaper.

Now I'm writing with Korean Air Cargo to send the moto by airplane. I supose more expensive but more secure and less time (2-3 days).

If you have the carnet ATA you don't have any problem in the Mongolian customs.

First you said 1700 eur from Spain to Mongolia. That was the air price?

and why do you send the motorcycle to Berlin? That is the ground price?

It was a mistake, the price is the last. I don't know the air price yet.
