Mongolia - Road of Bones travelling mates.

Hello All,
I’m an X motorcycle word traveler, now driving a Land Rover Defender Tdi. I have a trip planned for the summer, going through Poland and Ukraine and entering Russia on the 20th of May 2010.
I’ll then drive through Kazakhstan, mainly as it’s between Russia and Mongolia, the main goal. I’m planning to spend about 60 days in Mongolia, before heading back into Russia to do the Road of Bones, ending in Magadan. I’ll then turn around and head back to France. Simple, right!!!
Would like to meet up with people along the way, and maybe even travel together for some parts of the trip. The truck is fully expedition equipped, and this is meant as a camping trip, to explore the outback. Why only have 5 stars, when you can have billions of stars!!!

As of today I’m doing the trip alone, but there’s an empty seat if someone with good navigation skills, able to handle the pots (year right!!) and who likes classic rock, can convince me that he/she should fill it.
It’s possible to join in for parts of the trip too, cost is half of the running costs (fuel, food, permits, taxes etc.)

Cheers, Ib.

Road of Bones 2011

Hi, I'm curious to know if you've started your trip? I'm planning on driving the Road of Bones in 2011 (with a 4x4 as well) and am also looking for people who might be doing it at the same time as I've also have a spare seat. Cheers

Greetings from Norway :-)

We are also planning to do Road of Bones next year. Starting early in July. At what time are you going?

Best regards
