Middle East and then Africa East Coast ish
Hello, I'm currently in Bulgaria (Sept 11th 2010) on a Uk to Cape Town trip and so far have only bumped into 1 fellow adventure biker! (German chap, had been in Ukraine - now back in Germany) and was wondering if there are others currently on there way to Cairo and then heading South? My plans are to hopefully enter Egypt (via Aqaba) very early October and it would be nice to team up with fellow bikers for the trip through Sudan and into Ethiopia. Say hello please if anyone is about!

Bulgarian party time
Hi James, I'm expecting to be in Bulgaria in about 10 days for a mini biker meet, some guys just in from doing the 'stans and other bits. If you are still going to be around give me a PM and we can arrange a meet up. Failing that I should be in Durban Mid Nov for a few months bimbling around sub saharan Africa. Ride safe.

detour via Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt
Hi! I'm currently in Lebanon and re-planning my itinerary. My original plan was to visit ME and than go to India via Iran-Pak, but due to the latest news and concerns I guess I'll skip that part.
Please let me know if you are still around in Lebanon / Syria or Jordan. I consider to pay Egypt a visit too Last edited by BigTomsRide; 5 Oct 2010 at 12:50.

Hello, good to know there are more bikers on the way! I'm in cairo now and will be for about a week ish while I wait for my Sudan visa... Its chaos here!! Maybe you'll catch me up.. take care.
