In Mexico now heading to South America

Hi All
I am on the road in Mexico at the moment (Puerto Vallerta) on a KLR heading down to Argentina. I will spend the next couple of days on the road to Zipolite (near Puerto Angel) to spend New Year. Would love to meet other riders on the road so let me know.

(I have tried to PM a couple of people but can't due to not enought posts? - stupid)

See you on the road

Baz

Hi Baz, Wish I were there for you. As it stands I am digging out of the snow/ice storm in NYC
Feel good you are on the road.

Hi Baz

You are just ahead of us, a little too far. We are currently in Alamos, and will be between Mazatlan and Durango for Christmas. We might be down at Zipolite for New Year?

Johan

PS: My wife and I are on a BMW GS also on our way to South America.

No broblems down here, Mexico is lovely!

We entered the border at Presidio (Texas, next to Big Bend), drove via the Copper Canyon to Alamos, down to Mazatlan, Durango, Zacatecas, Guanojuato and is currently in Morelia. Al these towns (Not sure about Mazatlan) is lovely and piecefull.

Johan,

Thanks for the response. Glad to hear Mexico is as great as ever. I should stop reading the newspaper and start planning my next trip! Enjoy and ride safe.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
