Mexico and Guatemala, would love Company

Hey all!
I'm heading south. My plan is to leave Boise, ID on the 17 of this month and cross into TJ on the 21st or so. Go down Baja, take the ferry across to Mazatlan, follow the coast and maybe be in Oaxaca for all saints day (nov 2) and head into Guatemala for a few and then back up the east coast. I am planning to be back in Idaho for Thanksgiving. I am 100% flexible on this and any other route. I speak spanish and have spent alot of time living and traveling in Mexico, just not on a bike. I am on a KLR, but am planning to stick mostly to the pavement. Anyone interested in meeting up can contact me at peterhammett@hotmail.com

Hey, I'm in Hidalgo del Parral right now- leaving for Durango tomorrow(Oct 21). After 2 days there I plan to ride to Puerto Vallarta for a week or so. Guess the Hurricane hit Guatemala hard to I'm not in a big rush to get there. Sure we'll meet along the way, Dave.

What up phammmett, Im near Tikal now, have been in
Guatemala for a month. It got hit hard but things are quite settled now, a few roads out, but detours are abundent and not a problem for someone on a bike. Been all over, met some local bike clubs, hospitlaity is tops hear. Check out San Pedro la Laguna, Atilan. Was completly missed by the slides, although devistating next door in Santiago. There itchen for people to come back, and the beauty of the area is hard to beat. Have fun and shoot me a note if you have any questions about the area. adios
