Hi Mate, I will be interested to see how you get on with a travelling visa for Myanmar, the last people thru as far as I know were Suzy and Simon Harbath from England, it took them months to even get a restricted visa. That was in August 2004. Best of Luck.

Hi,
Let me know if you come through PUNE, I ride a Bullet and I am not aware of of any 225CC indian bike, Just curious , can you tell which bike are you planning to ride??
I ride a 350CC Bullet and go on relatively small rides in and around here,

When you make it to the USA, I can almost certainly provide free camping, possibly a room, showers etc. Southern Colorado area, a nice place to ride. Give me a shout when you get close enough to plan.

Hi Bharadwaj...this is Kailas from kerala. All the very Best wishes for the trip. In fact, i'm also on a prelimnary prep phase for acheiving this feat. I will be highly grateful if you could explain your preparations in some detail. Especially the bottlenecks suffered for such a tour from an Indian perspective.
I'm currently planning the itinerary for the rtw. I will be going to the west and coming throught the east. And one question: You have said that Myanmar visa is pending. Are Indians able to cross the Imphal border into Myanmar? I heard the border is closed now..Please enlighten ...Thank yu

P.S this is my first post to HUBB.Hope I'll also transform my horizons unlimited

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
