Last year I rode through Mexico for 2 months and am planning similar trip leaving in either Dec 08' or Jan 09' with the addition of Central Ameica on the itinerary. Let me know what your thoughts are. Shayne
Hello Shayne I arrive LA 6th december hoping to have a bike ready to go within days. But things do usually go not as planned so hoping to leave LA latest around 20th. For sure I will be going into central america. We maybe can meet up.
Hi me and my friend are doing pretty much the exact same trip at about the same time we will be leaving the bay area on jan 1st going down to mexico and on and on to south america. We dont really have any plans besides doing work at charities along the way so we could meet up anywhere. I have been looking for people to join the trip on advrider for like a month and havent gotten any replies then I met some riders last night that told me about this site and badda bing here i am let me know if your interested in meeting up it would be rad to have another person to ride with. We will both be riding klr 650's hope your o.k. being seen with us hahaha,
A mate and I are landing in LA on November 3, leaving after a couple of days and riding south to Rio over the next 4 months. I know a bit of a fast trip but we want to see as much as we can. We are from Brisbane. Both riding DL650's. One is blue and black with big black panniers and the other is grey and black. So if that fits with you??
Heck, i was all set for a ride up to Central America in December. Yesterday my boss told me my contract ends in a few weeks. I am contemplating pushing all the way south to TDF and thence to BsAs. Am thinking 3 months or so total trip.
I ride a DL650 and live in San Francisco. I am Indian.
A friend and I are leaving Telluride, CO, next Wednesday (assuming a number of events transgress as planned) heading down to Panama, maybe farther, "planning" to be back in the states on April 1st.
We are going down through Silver City, NM, then to Bisbee, AZ, then maybe to Tucson to get my brakes bled (damn ABS) and then south. We want to see Copper Canyon but otherwise head south rather rapidly to the warm.
Hi Folks... Another noobie Canuck from London, Ontario wanting to cross at Laredo sometime early to mid January. Looking to head no further than Panama. Have 2 months which maybe a little ambious. Would like company as well. Does this time frame or part of work for anyone? Would like to see Copper Canyon on the return.
