Marocco to Senegal, mali to Niger before crossing the Sahara
Hello!
I am a Norwegian, experienced traveller, who is planning to leave Marocco in the beginning of March, and hopefully ready to cross the sahara around middle of April. Anyone who has the same plans? Mvh Haakon

i am just finishing up s america and have been deciding which continent will be next. thinking about buying a bike in africa, but probably south up, but flexible. i am very much so a backroad traveler. what do you know about picking up a bike in morocco? ogsa, jeg ar et nordman... not really, but i was engaged to a girl from stavanger.

Congratulation, and why not Africa. I am not a big expert on Marocco, though I have been there travelling by car. I would imagine that Spain is a better place to pick up a bike, but not as good as Germany.
I am crossing in to Marocco with a bike in the beginning of March. Talk more later, have to prepare new years dinner. Where ever you are, I wish you a happy new year. Ps. I saw a thread about buying a bike i South Africa on the hub somwhere. Cheers Haakon
