Malaysia & Thailand
greetings all!
seeking one other rider. currently planning a short one in malaysia and thailand. i've done this one before. approximate dates of travel are the 20th of december to the 10th of january 2009. i'm currently based in texas. the plan would be to fly the two bikes out of houston to penang. i have family in penang that help manage the entry logistics. i last did this one in 2000 and the entry logistics took no more than two hours to have the bike at the flat in penang. you might want to stay there to ride for more time, yet i'm somewhat fixed on my travel dates. maybe you would want to stay for the HU meeting in northern thailand which takes place in the latter part of january. i'll most probably be riding a r80g/s, so if you have one of those that would be nice. otherwise, just about any bike will do. i currently have one tentative ride partner and am looking for one person to step in should he bail on me. maybe three riders would pan out for this trip. contact me if interested! thanks, Carl
