Looking to partner up for looong trip

Hi, departure date not set but I would ideally like to join up in a convoy that is headed to SA direct and on the best roads there is as I will be using a new shape rear wheel drive only transit van and will have some good space available to share aswell as my knowledge, being a mechanic I will able to assist those who require it and in return for giving me maybe a to if I get stuck, please note that Im not looking for an adventure trail but a direct route to SA, I happy to have on board a passenger who is fit and able to assist where need be, possibly a small fee will be charged for fuel but thats a maybe.
Also any advice on the best roads for a rear wheel drive would be appreciated, I will be fittig the widest of rubber I can possibly do. Is it also worth investing in software for my laptop to run a GPS roading routing sytem, you know what I mean.

Great forum guys and a wealth of info for all to be had
Cheers

Hi

Theres a few folk from UK planning to get to Buenos Aires in October this year. My own plan is to then head south to TDF then north up west coast but not sticking to the main roads all the time. Thinking of about 6 months or so.

cheers

mike
