Looks like I will have to bow out boys! My other half isn't at all well. I need to be here for her in her time of need. I'm gutted.

Good luck and stay safe.

First off I'd like to say I envy you. I can't afford to go again this year. Loved the Ukraine. The Speedway at Rivne is worth a visit. All I will say is make sure you get a tourist stamp in your passport, we got caught at the Russian border with the Ukraine officials saying we had the wrong stamp. Oh, and watch out for the cops, they will try it on.

"Transit is 3 days. You in Ukraine 5 days. Big problem. Wrong stamp, big problem"

We were asked to make a "present" to make the problem go away. We rang our biker friend in Rivne and that scared them enough to let us through to the Russian border.

But a fantastic country, the people are great and if some bikers find you you will have one hell of a time.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
