Lake District / Wales next week

Hi,

I'm hoping for an Indian Summer this year. Weather permitting I'm thinking about doing a 1-week tour either around Wales or the Lake District. I'm based in London but happy to meet anywhere on the way.

Anyone fancy coming along on such a short notice?

Wales/lake district

Hi,

I am thinking of a week in Scotland. Not sure of dates, when I have had enough of work i will just go. If your interested drop me a line. I will be camping 80% of the time and spending as much time as possible away from the beaten track.

coastal route

Just been on a tour of Scotland and thought I would suggest a road for you to try.

B8008, It's only a short road but We found it really enjoyable. It is only single track road but with plenty of passing places. It was newly resurfaced when we rode it a month ago and has some lovely little beachs and coves. I would have posted some pictures, but to be honest we never stopped to take any it was just too much fun to ride.

In fact the road from Fort William all the way up to the B8008 was enjoyable. As you say we kept to B-roads as much as we could and had a wonderfull time.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
