LA/Santiago, July 05 - Horizons Unlimited

I'm freighting my 1200GS to LAX in early July, planning on a six month run to Santiago tentatively via Manaus, Rio, Buenos Aires, Ushaia. Anyone out there planning something similar? I'm travelling solo at this point.

May see you on the road.I shall be leaving Calgary early July and heading down to Ushaia the otherside of the continent to you then upto B.A.
May catch up with you as i have only 6 months so i will be going through the States at a medium to fast pace.
I'll be on UK registered Kalahari yellow GS1100 with girlfriend as pillion to keep an eye on me. Dam !

I'll keep an eye out through Mexico & Central America, where I'll be slowing down to surf and do a crash(?) course in Espanol. My Big Red GS has VIC Australian plates.

Good News! (For me, anyway!) I've had a busy week and found one of my Aussie mates to do the trip with, and instead of my Big Red R1200GS, we'll both be on Even Bigger Black R1150GS's. Still in LA early June, still the same tentative route. Maybe holding a photography exhibition somewhere in Orange County, then San Diego County a couple of days later, before heading south through Baja. Any Horizons crew or Ca. community people definitely invited, and I'll post details as things firm up.
