Kazakhstan: from Almaty heading west. August 27th or 28th
 

I am going to be heading west from Almaty on August 27th or 28th. Heading to Russia (Kazan?) and then on to Italy.

Anyone care to join me for part of the journey? Hope to see some of the Islamic sites en route, have a swim in (what's left of) the Aral Sea and enjoy the desert scenery. Would be fun to travel with another motorcyclist.
