Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events such as this one (18 this year!); we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, the HUBB or
to receive the e-zine. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and

If I were you I'd start at the other end and work down! Hokkaido is beginning to cool down then, so from there as you go further South it will get slightly warmer.
Sorry for the massive delay......been away and distracted. Point taken on the weather. If I can still do this it will be very soon, but its looking like Europe might be a better idea as I need to be back in the UK by late Sept. I am free from now to then and just starting to get my act together now.... When were you thinking of ? I believe its horribly hot and humid there at the moment, so going further north from Tokyo might make sense. Incidentally, fyi - Japan has recently legalised taking pillions on motorways (it was previously banned, which made some routes difficult as there was no alternative road in some cases). I have some contacts in Japan if you need any help.
