Italy - the next "leg"

Hi all
new to this site and already suffering travel overload!
This year I am continuing my quest to travel the entire coastline of the Med (hence the username) by "conquering" Italy. Spain and France have already fallen beneath my wheels, as has the stretch of Italian coast from Menton in France to Genoa.
So this year, my ride will start when I disembark in Holland and head for Luxembourg, down to Liechtenstein and on to Lake Como and Milan before arriving in Genoa. From there, it's ferries to Corsica, Sardinia and Elba, then back on the mainland to Sicily via Rome, Naples, Sorrento (and the Isle of Capri). A day trip from Sicily to Malta crosses that island off my list, then it's coast all the way around the "heel" of Italy and up the Adriatic to Misano, where I will be visiting some friends. On through Venice, Trieste and into Croatia (for the starting point of next years trip) then back through Slovakia, Austria, Czech republic, Poland, Germany to the ferry port at Rotterdam.
I depart from Hull on 25th May and will be on the road for 1 month.
If you are in or around any of the places mentioned, please pm me on here as it would be good to meet up with some like-minded travellers to exchange travel stories over a nice meal and cool beer.
Take care!
MedMan.

I understand you are going east from Venice, but if you are in north eastern Italy, you cannot skip the Dolomites, mate!

Rode through the Dolomites on my way back from Rimini last year - as you say - much too good to miss!
Thanks for the heads-up though :thumbup1:

Italy is a wonderful place to visit and as you said i truly believe that it has many attractions to expand one's stay. I would like to know about the surrounding of the places you visit.
