plan to travel overland in car from india to SEasia in jan 09,abt 5 months trip.will be glad if some one allready done this willing to share experience and info. thanks

Are you planning on driving from India to SE Asia, as if you are you might have a lot of trouble.The route through Myanmar is closed, and to go through China is very expensive and takes loads of paperwork to sort out.I flew my motorbike from Kathmandu to Bangkok, and some Dutch people I was travelling with in their Landcruiser had to drive to Madras and then put it on a boat to Malaysia.You can sail from Dacca,or Calcutta as well, so factor the cost of this and the time into your plans.
