Hey Larry

Well--I missed your Thailand adventure--but all healed up now. Since then have bought a f800gs in the UK. Heading there in May to explore Scotland, northern UK and Ireland--then over to Estonia with some fellow hubbers from Scotland. Will be done with Estonia by July 1. What time period are you thinking of for India? Sounds interesting--and the Himalayas are definitely on my bucket list!

Mark

Wow I can not believe that there is not more interest in doing this trip. I have done it once before and believe me there is hardly anywhere in the world that can compare with this area for senery. Come on guys this is the time of year to be planning and exploring your options.

India Himalayas

Hi Fiorinis
That sounds like a great time. I have not put a time together yet but want to do from around Manali, Keylong, Kullu, Nako, Recong Peo, Kaza and that area. I plan on about 2 weeks and have done it before. I am pretty open to other areas depending on who I find to go along. Will you be renting a bike or bringing your own? How many in your group? You can email me directly if you like. ldavis@swwnet.com

bike rental in India

I am not sure as the last time I did it as a tour and it was included but I do have the guys name and phone and it will depend on the number of bikes. It is cheap for everything in India and I am trying to get several to go and then call and get a price.

Hi Larry,

Sounds like an interesting trip and I'm up for doing somethiing this summer, it needs to be fairly inexpensive as I'm saving for a big trip next year! I've dropped you an email perhaps you could send over some of your ideas?
