In Colombia Heading South
 

Hi I am in Colombia (Cartegena) heading down to Ecuador, Peru, Bolivar, Chile/Argentina over the next 3-4 months. Anyone else around?
I am on KLR650 and like travelling smaller dirt roads.

Best of luck to you. You are exactly 3 months ahead of me. I too will be on a KLR. Are you doing a ride report? Would love to know what is working or not working for you on the bike. Are you going all the way to Ushuaia? Do you have an ETA for there if you are going that far?

Peru is my specialty, but I can help you out with some in Brazil and Bolivia too. I ride an XR650L. In fact I am leaving for Peru tomorrow to explore some new dirt roads up in the Colca Canyon region in the south. What is your ETA for Lima or Cuzco? I will be in and out of Lima Jul 22 to Aug 5, then up riding in the southern Andes Aug 6-11. I don't care for beer, but I have been missing a good Pisco Sour...
