Calling all overlanders in and around Ghana

I am looking for other overlanders to team up with to drive drown the west coast of Africa down to South Africa. If you

I will be hanging around Ghana until late August 2004. If I have found some one, I will drive. If not I will ship to Durban, South Africa.

Notice from yur website that u using a roof tent on the Landy....how has that been working out?

Its working out fine. I have some minor leaks in the ground sheet, during heavy rain. Other than that its is quiet homly.
Pro this model packs down small.
Con you have to use most of the roof when the tent is open. So you have to move anything you have up there. If I was doing it again with more people I would get a tent that folds over the side. That way to can pack half the roof space with stuff you don't have to move.

O.K. have decided to move on alone. I will be travelling through Togo (along the coast), Benin (coast then north) and on through the middle of Nigeria. If anyone is around along the way and you want to meet up, leave a message here.
