Question Female Moto Travelers (solo) list

Dear all,

my name is Gionata Nencini, 26, riding the world solo since 2005 on a transalp made in 1987.

One of my side project is a travelling portal which talk about mot adventures.

I met just few solo female riders and I'd like your help to list a nice bunch of them here, maybe full names or link to their blog, site, forums etc etc.

So far I met and heard of

---------- EDITED FOR SECURITY REASONS --------------

please feel free to help me and post here some other names and link.

Thanks all

Gionata Nencini

I'll be back on the RTW road in April, doing Europe, Africa and Asia in the foreseeable future, then Russia, Mongolia etc after that.

Website in signature.

Cheers

The definition of "Solo'

I'm amused at the use of the word 'solo'...for some it's someone traveling alone, for others two women traveling without a man.

Any way you slice it, we are all so blessed to be following our dreams, especially as we travel through countries whose people's dreams may never be realized.

Thanks for all the links to other inspiring ladies' tales!

Thanks Danielle,

I added you on FB so that I can grab a photo of you and your bike to write this article.

Is going to be a post on my portal about the women riding the world (or part of it) solo.

I'd like your help in gathering here their full names, website links, one picture each, a map of the biggest journey they've done and some extra info and an embed video, if you like.

Thanks to everybody!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
