Hi Dale, hotel Belmar, on the seafront in Old Mazatlan, 400 pesos a night lots of secure parking and cheap . I'm staying here until the new years traffic mayhem returns to normal Mexican mayhem. Ride safe.

Feliz Navidad!

Hi Mike
Enjoy!
We'll probably be staying at the Belmar too. Two years ago it was around $18Can for a double but apparently times have changed. We also stayed at the Sands Arenas, about halfway down the strip to the Gold Zone, and it was only $45Can. It's now $65US and with our dollar back in the dumpster we'll be back at the Belmar.
Our plan is to spend two nights in Maz before continuing on as far as Play Azul. From there we'll hook around to Lake Chapala and then back to Mazatlan to spend a few more days before meeting friends in PV.
Or, if my wife hates riding, we spend the whole vacation in Mazatlan.
:-)
Only time will tell
Have a great Mexican Christmas!
Dale

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
