The problem is mate, your journey won't sound crazy to anyone on here. Quite normal really.

That's a bit of a harsh and negative response - it's not normal by any stretch of the imagination. Normal is going to work every day like 99.9% of people do. There's loads of dreamers here as well - I did my big trip way back in '95 and have been dreaming and browsing ever since and I'm always happy to read about people travelling
I'm happy to see what other folks are doing - it keeps the dreams alive
cheers
Rich

Wow, great trip, you should make sure you get the hummer fitted with TV screens, satelite TV and a good stereo.

Were using the Hummer because the TV company thought it would be the better slant and more interesting for the type of people that might watch the doco of the trip in Ireland. I know its a bit of a mad gas guzzler but hopefully we'll make it!! We have it all kitted out with tvs etc so at least Itll keep us entertained!!

Thanks for that post blauchiman mate. I know that its not that crazy a trip to most of the people on here but to 99.99% of people on earth it is and the production company is loving it! Please mate, if you do happen to see us on the trip if your around any of the countries at this time, dont bother saying hello!

Any links to people sites for crazyjourney.com would be hugely appreciated.

Well said.

So how are you planning to get into China? Do the whole compulsory guide thing?

You signed up with TV networks? Who, and how did you manage that? I've always thought that if you're not a movie star (and even then you need to prove yourself) they're not interested.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
