flight to Colombia info

Will you post your flight info to Colombia from Panama? Like what city did you fly into, which airline, costs, hassles, what to avoid or how to do it better now that you are the man with current experience? I should be doing the same around the 7th or 8th of October and would appreciate any of your suggestions. I've been emailing back and forth a little with Copa, but am having a hard time getting specific info from them.

Thanks and enjoy your down time.

Hi From Nasca Peru

I flew the bike from Panama to Bogata Columbia,i used Girag airways they were rather expensive at 900 dollars and they want cash, but they do fly every day and i had no hassle at all.The other company Copa airways are a bit cheaper, but they only fly on Thursday so you will have to work out the days you will have to wait, hotel bills food and all the rest before you make up your mind.By the way Girag never did anything to the bike,i still had half a tank of fuel and i just started up and drove out of the cargo shed at Bogata once i had cleared Columbian customs.I hope this has helped you good luck with your trip. Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
