Europe - West coast of Africa - Cape Town - East Africa - Europe

Hi

I am a Danish guy at 25 who is looking for a new adventure in my life. I am tired of the normal 8-5 day and want to do something new and exciting.

I am therefore planing a MC trip start september/october 2011 from Denmark, through Europe, down the west coast of Africa to Capetown, Drive the east cost of africa back to europe.

I haven't planed the trip in details and would like to keep it open like that and take it as it comes and stop where ever we feel like.

I am emagien the trip to take between 1-2 years but who knows

I am looking for other bikers to join me all the way or just some of it. Its more fun to be two or more than alone.

If this has your interest please contact me

Simon,
Im a South African, 35yrs old, living in the UK. I am planning on returning home to SA next year, leaving London around Sept/ Oct 2011. Amazingly I have 5 months to do the trip, signed off by the wife !!

I will be on an XT600. Definitely want to ride the West coast, starting either in Morocco, taking in Mali and hopefully Niger before heading south....OR Tunisia through Algeria, Niger but looping back to Mali....and then on south.

I know a bit about bike mechanics. My French is non-existant but hoping to learn enough over the next year.

Still a while to go but worth making contacts.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
