Europe to South Africa Dec 2010/Jan 2011
 

Hi, Is there anyone going or interested to go to South Africa. I am on a motorbike and was thinking to head down the east side. I am in Finland atm but soon will be taking the ferry to Germany and then start heading south.
Also is the east safer to go cause I am a little paranoid from what I have read about kidnappings and it seems more common on the west.
Woud be good to hear some opinions.

I am heading down in 4x4 from Jan 30th, down east coast. So may bump into you on the trip.

I'm heading down the west coast crossing from the Canaries into Morocco (w.sahara) on 4th December and then heading down taking 3 months to do the trip if you chnage your plans. I am not worrying too much about those kidnappings, think of how many people travel and how many get kidnapped less than 1% so you either want adventure or you don't :)
