Europe to South Africa Dec 2010/Jan 2011
Hi, Is there anyone going or interested to go to South Africa. I am on a motorbike and was thinking to head down the east side. I am in Finland atm but soon will be taking the ferry to Germany and then start heading south.
Also is the east safer to go cause I am a little paranoid from what I have read about kidnappings and it seems more common on the west. Woud be good to hear some opinions. Last edited by iceberged; 10 Nov 2010 at 08:55.

I'm heading down the west coast crossing from the Canaries into Morocco (w.sahara) on 4th December and then heading down taking 3 months to do the trip if you chnage your plans. I am not worrying too much about those kidnappings, think of how many people travel and how many get kidnapped less than 1% so you either want adventure or you don't
