Hi There,

I'm just in the process of planning a trip to Magadan, or possibly the Sea of Japan at Vladivostok for next year, possibly the year after if finances don't pan out in time.

Am looking at heading down from the UK, to Istanbul, to Turkey, Georgia, Khazakstan to Russia, in to Mongolia, then back into Russia for Magadan, or the Sea of Japan and Vladivostok via circumnavigation of China

Mark.

You must be made of stronger stuff than me. I did the same trip this year and included Kaz via Astrakhan. The corrugations and potholes were brutal, I loved every metre of tarmac I drove on. Even that was not without grief, leaving the road over some mean undulations and fusing my lights when hitting the road again. Never thought my truck would make it back home in one piece, but thankfully it was a Toyota and it did.

Good for you... Enjoy it

Well, I'm going away this winter and will be back in early spring.

Finances depending, I'll either be looking to travel or going back to work..

Until 2015, I won't know my position...

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
