Ushuaia for Xmas 2011

I am curious if anyone knows of any Xmas gathering in Ushuaia at Xmas this year? I expect to be there and would love to leave the solo ride behind for a day or two!

Unless something drastic as happened, the biggest and best party in Ushuaia is at Rio Pipo camp ground next to the Rugby club on the road that heads into the national park..

I have very fond memories

We will be there, too.

Two of us on two GSA's.

We have not planned anything in Ushuaia yet but have camping gear.

TT's noted previous gathering at Rio Pipo camp ground next to the Rugby club, sounds like a place to start.
If there is not already a gathering planned for there this year, we can make it our own.

We are in Viedma for the gathering prior to this.

There is ALWAYS a Christmas and New Years party at Ushuaia - has been something for over 20 years.

The other big event not too far away and just a couple of weeks before for the last 7 years is the Viedma Argentina HU Travellers Meeting. WELL worth getting to - always a great time! And if the timing for Ushuaia at Christmas doesn't work out it's a perfect alternative opportunity to meet up with a lot of fellow travellers.

Aye men to that !! Missing the Viedma meeting would be an EPIC FAIL !!

You will meet so many great people there who you will probably bump into all over South America.

Oscar is a fantastic host and the Asado is the best i've ever had....

I think i'm going to have to go back next year......

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
