Riding through north Poland and Baltic states to Moscow (possibly calling at friends in St P'berg on way) in early June. After a week staying with friends/family in Moscow, going on to Caucuses Mountains, near Georgia border (which remains closed) for two weeks, to stay with other friends.

After that, now mid/late July, going on to Volgograd and probably Kazakstan.
Undecided after that - I want to ride/see Tuva, Baikal and BAM regions but will probably leave them for next summer, and ride back through Ukraine and Balkans.

Although very happy riding alone (more freedom, more choice, own time schedule - but seldom alone) I am willing to link up with others for parts of journeys. Just knowing they are about is a security and a good source of up to date conditions and ideas.

I·m off but somewhat earlier!

Hallo sunshines,
I·ll be leaving Spain for Dolomites, crotia, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and back around late april --- beginning of may. I see most of you fellows are riding a bit later but You never know! .... I·ve been building up a thirst for a long time so I·d gladly have some drink in good company. (mixed as always with the usual love and peace (if I don·t get too peed)

(up)Yours sincerely .... Dan

from Paris 28 july i guess
then fast to romania and bulgaria
i will look for other crews in Istambul the week end of 4 5 august
then east to caucasus, iranian frontier, lac of van, nemrut dagi and cappadocia
back to greece and albania the last week of august
i'm sorry for the exiting st pet istambul byt my job can't let me book a ferry ticket for a sure date, so i have to take the road option, wich i can decide at the last moment

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
