Thanks Rich
Thanks for your posting...I had nobody who wanted to come at the same time and so left anyway. I have come the other way round, so am unlikely to bump into you...My route was France Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia and I am now in Varna, Bulgaria on the Black Sea coast. Moving on to ride the Transylvanian Alps in Romania and then Hungary, Slovakia, Cz Republic, Poland, Berlin and Holland and back home. Language is a bit of a problem down here but riding and scenery and places great to see. People especially in Macedonia were terrific....rode out with 6 Macedonians over two days...Draw a veil over Albania! Dirty and not very nice for a lone biker with bags on bike. Everywhere else however has felt safe. Roads variable but lots of super bike riding and numerous mountain passes. Specials so far are the Vrsic pass(COBBLED hairpins!) in Slovenia and the Shipka Pass in Bulgaria. Have to watch out for potholes. Ride safe and enjoy your trip. Best wishes Paul
