East Africa - May-Sept 06

Hi All

I'll be in East Africa on an old XT600 Tenere (1VJ) from May until September. Going solo, and if anyone fancies catching up for a , or sharing a particularly challenging stretch (Marsabit Highway?), drop me a line.

Paul

I'm looking at leaving late August/ early September from the UK down to Cape Town (eastern route) going solo. Would be keen to catch up along the way. No Yamaha though mate, just my sturdy Suzuki DR650 RSE.

We should stay in contact to see how each other is getting on.

Gentlemen,
I am arriving in South Africa mid August and heading solo up the east side after Namibia. Expecting to arrive in Ethiopia Dec.
On a overloaded F650, look for the guitar on the back if it hasn't been stolen. Will go out of my way for a pint with y'all.
Cheers,
Rene

Hi Joe, That would be pleasant, wouldn't it! Beer it is, then. Somewhere in north-east Africa. I 'll be there!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
