Day of The Dead: Ride to Baja from LA or San Diego last week oct to 2nd of november

I'm motorcycling down to LA from Vancouver, BC and would love to go to Mexico for the day of the dead--November 1st. I'm thinking of riding down a few days before and then coming back right after. Anyone in? I think it will be really fun!
